I might still be in shock over Zoe's death.
I still enjoyed the series, but I do wish that they had kept some sort of story line that was off The Hill and Capitol. The journalists provided some relief from all of the politicking. And some of the weird sex stuff. Like Feng's sex scene...what was that for? How did knowing anything about his kinks show you something about his character?
I felt like there were some things handled really badly. The kink above (b/c the only think I can think of is kink = bad, so now we know Feng is a bad guy) and the Indian storyline. I mean, WOW. Casinos in KC, MO are riverboat casinos, not reservation and have nothing to do with Indians. Additionally, Missouri Indians didn't have turquoise jewelry, okay? Not all Indians are the same! And then when Indian actor also had long hair and was saying his house was "sovereign land". Give me an effin' break.
DH and I have been enjoying coming up with scenarios for Season 3. Favorite so far: Frank manages to create an international government, that's he's president of, and this turns into the Left Behind series. Still liked it overall, but I don't think the writing was as great as it was last season.
