  Thanks! One of my BM's was looking at J Crew (they're all picking their own dresses) but was on the fence about the price.  I just passed on the info to her.

  I only wish that they carried the dresses in store to try them on. That way I can avoid spending $1000 and then returning.

  As an FYI, they have sales about every 3 months. We picked out bridesmaid dresses at the end of October and discovered that there was a sale going on. We tried to order them then but weren't able to make all the necessary decisions in time. We wound up getting them in January during another sale, and they were something like 40% off. The color we had picked out in October was discontinued by the time January rolled around (although they told us it wouldn't be!) so that was partly why the discount was so great.

  
  

  There are a handful of stores that have a wedding department, so if you're anywhere near one I found them to be super helpful. My dress isn't from there, but there was a bridal appointment while we were looking at bridesmaid dresses and they were lovely!
