When do we need to get suits by?

I just got a flyer from the Knot letting me know that we need to order our suit rentals by Nov. 1. This seems WAY too far out for a late April wedding! I remember seeing estimates online saying 2 or 3 months out. So which one is it?

Also- where are you getting your suits from? We want suits, not tuxes, and Mens Wearhouse only does tuxes. Which sucks because we're getting our BM dresses from David's Bridal which would set us up for a discount at Mens Wearhouse.

    Hello! I was an April 2013 bride and I am bored lol. We didn't even look at suits until January and they had to be in about two months before the wedding, so you have time! Hope all of the planning is going great for everyone!

    We picked our our tuxes and set up the account with the tux rental place yesterday. But, they told us that the guys don't have to be fitted until January or February. Keep in mind that April is prom month so prepare for lots of suit/tux orders coming in around that time.

    Men's Warehouse only does tuxes? Is that a location thing? We just made an appointment online for January 4th and the website asked if we wanted suits or tuxes.

    We were able to get Suits from Mens Warehouse, the boys will not be wearing tuxes. I'm going to buy a suit for my son, because the price to rent it was ridiculous.

    Didn't even think of prom season, go thinking!  I will ahve to tell my FH to get on the ball sooner rather than later for the tux fittings!

    I just went to have my boys fitted for an April 25th wedding. Men's Warehouse said that they all need to be fitted and ordered by March 9th. Hope this helps.
