  they aren't yellow (but you could spray paint them) 
  Ikea is having a MASSIVE sale on paper lanters....we got the smallest (12'?) and largest (24") for 99 cents a piece!!!  apparently they have come out with a new style and are liquidating the old inventory.  Strangely the middle size (18"?) is still regularly priced @ $4.99 go figure!
  
  Also...pier one is selling out their summer inventory and has drastically reduced the pricing on lanterns (and they come with a light source!)  good luck!

  Where are you located - your bio looks like the Seattle area? I am in Seattle too, and just used this for my wedding. It was a TON of work to figure out how to get the shape, but we did it! It was a nice 'statement' piece at the wedding. It is 4 strands of lanterns wrapped around a tomato-plant wire skeleton. Original price of materials is $70, but am willing to let it go for less. I guess if you didn't want the bouquet-aspect of it, you could always take it apart too. Let me know if you are interested.
