My venue is requesting we put menu options on out invite. Fine I will put them on the rsvp card and have a full description of each entree on the website. When I asked them if I had to do assigned seats (already planning on doing tables) or have the escort cards color coordinated some how so they would know who wanted what they said no they will be doing table side ordering the day of but want an idea of which entree choice is in high demand before hand to plan out how much they need to supply of each. This way they do not have to prep 100 of each entree. They said they do it that way so people are able to change their mind the day of.
Has anyone been in a situation like this? Honestly I would be confused as a guest as to why I had to choose an entree in the rsvp when i got to chose again at the event. Thoughts anyone.
