Hi all! I'm new here and newly engaged from NY. We got engaged in Key West and plan to get married in Key West 7/14. Any other Key West brides? Any suggestions? So far, we looked at the Southernmost Point and The Reach. Thanks!

    Hi future,

    I am also a 2014 Key West Bride. We just booked The Reach after researching a few different venues. I fell for the gazebo on top of the water. :)

    Hi, I'm also getting married in Key West. May 5 2014 is our date and we're getting married there on our stop on a cruise. Location is Smather's Beach.

    Hi I'm actually going to loolk venues this weekend.  Has anyone found that there is room to

    negotiate with any of the vendors/venues there?  We are looking at 6 or so hotels including the Walfdorf Astoria.  Any thoughts/ advice would be appreciated while searching for our location!

    Ocean Key resort is awesome! I stayed there last year and am looking at it as a possible venue.

    I didn't think that they were willing to negotiate prices at all! However, the prices were reasonable considering we were looking to get married on a beach. We are also from NYC so maybe we are just used to getting ripped off lol. 

    I did find that all of the venues are very, very accommodating to whatever your wants are in terms of your ceremony/reception. 

    We ended up booking with The Reach and so far, it's been a great experience!

    Congrats! I'm so happy with my decision for The Reach.  So far it has been a great experience.  When are you having your wedding?
