It hits above 0 C in Canada and that warrants fans and blasts of cold air from my office ceiling vents?

Please no. I need more Lulu and scarves to cuddle up in. Someone save me.

    The AC being on in my office is a daily afternoon occurance and I have NO IDEA WHY. I live in Western NY and yes, we may be having a "heat wave" right now (woohoo 40* temps!) but that is NO reason for the AC to be on. It was also coming on when we were under that Polar Vortex, which is supposedly making an appearance again next week. Sending you warm vibes and scarves!

    It does that all. the. time. down here. It's not uncommon for me, no matter the time of year, to have on a cardigan, be wrapped in a blanket, have the space heater turned on, and wear fingerless gloves. I swear, they are trying to get us ready for nuclear winter by freezing the office.

    I wish we were still allowed to use space heaters in my building :( They banned them due to it causing heating/AC issues. I'm incredibly tempted to bring my electric blanket in, regardless of how ridiculous I look wrapped up in it.

    Ours is set to a building default, and can be changed manually (there's a thermostat for each section of the office). However, the one in my section is locked and we're not allowed to have the code.

    One of my good friends works on our other floor above, and he said the A/C has been blasting up there for the last week!

    Our temperature is controlled by a company that has their head offices 3 hours away from us.  It gets warmer down south there and they turn off our heat even though we're 20C colder.  It takes a couple of days at least of us complaining before they jack us back up

    Ugh, I feel ya!! I have an air vent right over my head at work, and when the guys get warm, they put the A/C on. I'm always cold anyway, so it's like adding insult to injury. I keep a big sweater and a blanket at my desk just so I don't freeze to death.
