Ok so I went and got fitted for a bra. And the lady who did my fitting hooked me up wit these awesome shapeware short things. But it goes over the long line bra. Ok so my question is when I did a fitting put my slip under my bra. Can it go over my bra? Or does ur have to go underneath?

I have always seen it over the bra. When I tried my dress on, my consultant helped me get into everything and she put the slip over the bra.

I suppose it could go either way but I would go with what you're more comfortable with.

Fitting went ok. The shape ware went horrible it kept making my slip slide which was uncomfortable. And the bra the corset shop put me in was very tight I had great concern about the back fat when I was being fitted for the bra. She tried assuring me my dress would cover up that back fat. Well it didn't it looked horrible. So I called them today and they were giving me a hard time about getting a bigger size or a different bra. So we shall see.

The bra should be pretty snug so that it holds you up/in. Try pulling the bra higher on your back. Like, seriously high, up right under your shoulder blades. Then, slide it down along your back and if you have to, lift your breasts up into it, but being sure not to slide it too far down your back. It should smooth out some of the back fat.

If you are chubby, which most of us here are, there will be SOME back fat even with a properly fitting bra and dress. But, if it's hanging over significantly after doing what I just suggested, you are right, the bra might be too small.

PS - what kind of shapewear did you get. It sounds like you are talking about spanx (see link below). If that's what you got, that should go UNDER your longline bra, not over.

I went to another bra shop yesterday had them put me in the same bra I have just bigger and the back fat was gone. Well of course a little you'll get that with every bra but nothing like it was. So I'm taking the bra back where I got it if they can't give me the bigger size I will just buy it from the new store. The short things isn't spanx. They are the same fabric the bra is. It has boning in itand its see tthrough. Idk wha they are but I won't be wearing them lol.
