Cliff Notes: she made up the entire story to make money from a small time news place and then GMA heard about it and paid her a lot more to tell it on the national news, but it's fake. The daughter has never rec'd injections and/or waxing. She doesn't even compete in beauty pagents. The daughter has been returned to the mom.

Just proves that you can't tell one lie w/o telling another.

What?!!? Even if she isn't actually waxing or injecting her daughter, I think she has still proven herself to be a pretty unfit mother by pimping her daughter out on national television.

Well, really, I don't know what's worse. That it might have actually happened or that some mom would do all that, get her child taken away, get labeled an unfit parent, all for a couple hundred dollars.

I'm happy to hear there were no actual Botox injections, but what is wrong with you that you need to hoar your child out like that with a fake story? WTF?

Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and say she's still a really rotten mother. Making your child lie for you? On television?? No wonder the kid looked so confused and petrified. That woman should be absolutely ashamed of herself. This won't be the last thing she does to screw up her kid. What a beast.

I swear, this desire for instant fame for self and family is going to bring down society. Between the weather balloon boy and this "Botox" girl, what are people thinking? Why can't we just teach our kids to try to be nice to each other and to try to do well in school and find a career hey love? What happened to normalcy?

However my doctor told me that I won't be a good mom because of it. And yes I am looking for a new doctor!

Your doctor is dumb. My friend was diagnosed with fibro right after her first child was born and went on to have another one two years later. She's one of the best mothers I know. I'm glad you're going to find another doctor.

My mom was officially diagnosed with lupus and fibro when I was 5 and I've never thought of her as a "bad" mom at all. My friends were all surprised in high school to find out my mom had even been sick, she was always the "cool" mom because she was always able to come along on school trips. Yes, sometimes she had bad days where she sent us to my gram's cause she couldn't handle me, my sister, and the pain, but 90% of the time I usually forgot she was even sick.

While I am thankful this was a hoax, it is still sad that the mom cared more about a few dollars then teaching her child that lying is wrong and that beauty is what is on the inside, not the outside. Poor kid, I feel badly for her that she has to deal with this kind of person for a mother.
