10 days left ladies!!

I am feeling anxious... not about getting stuff done, bc all I have left is to print the ceremony programs and coloring books for the kids, but I'm anxious/nervous about just making sure that all goes as planned. I am usually in charge but this day I refuse to be and I am worried that it will be a different story when I wake up that day.

I am trying to distract myself with wedding nails. I keep my nails manicured and short but bc I've been stressing out they look terrible :-(. I may have to do gel nails.

How are you all holding up!?

I'm 16 days out and I just got done with assembling my ceremony programs. If I have to tie another bow I'm going to flip. Oh wait, I will have to when I do our escort cards/favors. BAH! I just recently got my nails done with gels and the only gripe I have right now is somehow I chipped one and there is like a gash in the top of my pointer finger nail. Thankfully we go on the day before to get fills, etc so I won't have to deal with it 2 long. however, 3 weeks seems like a LONG time away!!!

@soontobemrsbuccheri I used to have acrylics and gel nails and it makes me so nervous to do it again bc I don't want to get hooked! Glad you're almost done with your checklist

I just got home from getting a gel manicure! I've been neglecting my nails for months for various reasons, and I finally had time tonight to get them done. I highly recommend it; I already feel better

@verna25: I had to do something with my nails because if I didn't get them done when I did, I would have never gotten them done. I'm a slacker in that aspect. I've tried to grow my nails but I have a nervous habit of biting them so getting them done makes it so I don't. Plus they look so pretty.

@silver0319: I had a "weekend of beauty" this past weekend. I got my hair highlighted and trimmed on Saturday (took less than an inch off - thank god!) and then on Sunday I went and got a manicure and wax. When I walked out of the nail salon I felt like a new person.

I felt better inside and out.

@silver0319 just the gel polish or the gel tips, similar to acrylic? I love the gel polish but my nails have gotten worse due to nerves and stress. Otherwise they look wonderfully manicured. I may have to do the fakes.

@soontobemrsbuccheri I would love a spa day. At this point I don't have time lol. Tonight I am getting my ends trimmed and a nice deep conditioning treatment. Next week is nails and a blow dry so I'm ready for my stylist on Saturday.

@verna25 it is totally worth the time. If you can do it, even if it is just for 2 hours, I would say DO IT. I don't plan to have any more "me" time until the morning of the wedding and even then, I still won't have any ME time because I'll be surrounded by my girls. I have 11 days and I'm freaking out. You have 4 days...OH MY GOD. Congrats!!!

I've been done with all the planning but slowly freak out every day because I think I'm still forgetting something. Everything is done though and I keep going over my lists to make sure I don't miss a thing. Taking Friday before the wedding to hang out with my girls, get a mani/pedi together and hopefully get some sleep the night before. Doubt I will be able to sleep much though lol. I'm also doing gel nails and just hoping I don't break any of them until Friday
