Had a fabulous week in Costa Rica! We swam, snorkeled, hiked, took a sailboat, drank fruity cocktails and generally had an awesome time. It was so nice to relax and decompress.
We rented a car and drove everywhere. The driving was kind of crazy, but we are used to that so it was doable. We saw so much wildlife and beautiful country.
Only sour note was I picked up a pretty nasty bacteria at the end of the trip. Had to go to hospital when we were back home. I'm feeling almost back to normal now but it sucked for a few days.
It's definitely an interesting perspective to have the wedding behind me. I spent so long long planning and dreaming of it, then it was over in a flash! The first week I felt kind of depressed, But now I'm happy looking forward to married life. And honestly, feeling normal again and not sucked into bizarro wedding universe, which is nice.
