I
am from MD and live in the DC area; on the other hand, my fiancé is from NY and
lives in NY. Our wedding is set to be in NY on Valentine's Day, Saturday,
February 14, 2015.
Being
that this will be a "winter wedding" and on "Valentine's Day,"
I am having a hard time deciding on a color scheme and on flowers.
If I opt for the red theme, does anyone know if the florist will charge extra for
roses being that it is Valentine's Day weekend?
Also,
what are affordable and ideal winter wedding flowers? My bridal party
will most likely create DIY bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages. So, we will need to be ordering flowers from
wholesale (i.e. Costco, online websites, etc.) and making them the day of/night
before for my 04:00 pm wedding ceremony.
I
will be planning my special day from DC, so advice and thoughts are much
appreciated!
