Giving Notice TONIGHT!!!! (NWR)

I have made my final decision!!! I accepted the position as one year old teacher with the child care center and am going to start this week. I am going into work in an hour and handing in my notice. With the upcoming holiday I have decided to tell them that Friday Decmeber 23rd will be my last day with Charlotte Russe. It will work out well for everyone. They don't have to pay me for the holiday and I can spend all Christmas weekend with my FI and his family! So happy! Let's hope they take the news well.

    Congrats!! That is great news! :)

    I saw your other post when you had said that you got the job offer and were a little nervous about working with one year olds. I currently work as a caseworker at Early Intervention-we work with kids birth to age three. I have alot of info about the milestones that kids should be reaching and all of that good stuff. If you ever have any questions, or want some good websites and information just let me know I am more then happy to help!! I am sure you will do great :)

    Giving notice went ok. My Store Manager warned me about only giving one week notice instead of two because the company won't like it and will most likely not rehire me. She said that she really is going to miss me. My District Manager emailed me back right away after I faxed her the letter and said she is glad I could find something that "better suits your availability" and wished me luck with my upcoming nuptuals. Some of the associates I've started to tell have told me they are really going to miss me.
