  • What is the scariest movie you've ever seen? Probably Saw. I don't do scary movies! Eek!
If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it? I am always skeptical when there's that many stars attached to ANY project.
What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters? Good cast, good story, shirtless men.
How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live? I think it's $13 now. And we only have matinees before noon for $6.

  • What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?
I don't watch scary movies, but the one that has seriously given me the most nightmares is The Silence of the Lambs.  And I LOVE that movie.

If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it?
No.  I feel like it kind of detracts from the individual performance that way.  I liked "Love, Actually" but that's the only movie of that kind that I've gone to see.

What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters?
I have to be interested in the subject matter enough to want to pay $10 for it, lol.

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live?
    Between $9.50 and $10

Scariest Movie? Saw maybe. I don't watch a lot of scary movies. The scary ones are the ones that could actually happen. Not Friday the 13th or Halloween.

10 Stars will you see it?Yeah. My favorite movies out of a big name cast are the Ocean's 11, 12, 13 movies.

Worth seeing in theaters?Guns, bullets, explosions. I like action movies with guys that have big muscles. Since discovering RedBox movies for $1.06 I usually just wait to rent.

    Cost for a movie? $7.50/adult

  • What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?
Either Saw or the Exorcism of Emily Rose.

If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it?
Sometimes.  I did see Valentine's Day but only because it was the movie included in our Valentine's Day dinner that we did.

What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters?
It just depends on what the movie is about.

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live?
If we go in the morning, it is $7 a person.  In the evenings it is between $8-9.

  • What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?
This is going to sound silly....Jaws.  My brother and I watched it one summer when we were younger, and it freaked me out so much that I wouldn't swim in anything except for a swimming pool.  I also thought Jaws was living in the pond next to our house and that he was going to get out of the pond, come into our house, and eat me while I was sleeping.

If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it?
Sure.  What's that new one coming out with like every action star ever?  That one looks pretty good.

What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters?
It depends on how interested I am in it.  Lots of movies I can just wait until they come out on Netflix, but others I have to see right now!

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live?
Matinee (any shows before 5 p.m.) are around $5.50 or $6.  Evening shows are $9 or $10.  One of the theaters in town offers a military discount with a ticket price of $4.50 for evening shows.  H was in the army for 4 years, so we usually go to that theater so we can get in cheap. :)

  • What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?
    Anything with little kid ghosts
If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it?
I don't pay attention to stars or reviews, they are usually wrong anyway.
What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters?
The previews. I can tell my the previews whether or not I'll like it. Although usually, it depends on what's playing when we go. DH and I usually just go to the theater and see whatever is playing at that time.

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live?
$10 to $20, depending on the time.
  • What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?  The Ring.  I refuse to ever watch it again.  I really hate scary movies though.

If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it?  We saw it and it sucked.

What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters?
I hate movies that are really predictable, which lately are most of them.  So a unique story line with hot actors is nice.

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live?  $9.25 and $11.75 for 3D.  I HATE the whole 3D craze lately.  A movie does not need to be 3D for it to be enjoyable, and it seems like half the movies out there are 3D.

What is the scariest movie you've ever seen? The Ring. *shudder*

If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it? I really like movies with ensemble casts because they tend to have solid stories that converge into a really good conclusion. I won't say that for all movies with 1 billion stars in them, but some are really good.

What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters? The story. I'm all about the plot. Visuals are nice, but I feel robbed if I pay to go see a movie and the story is flimsy at best.

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live? It depends on when and where you go. The town I live in doesn't have a movie theater. If you go to one town during the week, it's $5 all day, $7 in the evening. The weekend movies are super expensive there. If you go to another town, their week prices are the same, but their weekends are something like $6 during the day, $8.50 in the evening. Overall, it's pretty cheap to go to a movie here. You just have to drive a bit to get there.

  • What is the scariest movie you've ever seen? I know it's corny, but I saw Blair Witch with my aunt and uncle when I was 17 and I could NOT sleep that night...maybe it's because they live in an old, creaky house...
If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it? I don't even know what that means...and I could care less about reviews, I love movies that got bad reviews :)
What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters? particular actors/actresses, a decent-looking plot, sometimes I want to see something just because it looks cool :)
How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live? the theater near my house is 6 for matinee and 8.50 for evening...
  • What is the scariest movie you've ever seen? The Grudge or Suspiria.  I saw Suspiria in 8th grade and didn't watch another scary movie until college (The Grudge) and haven't seen one since.  I don't do scary movies.

If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it? I wanted to see it, but then I heard all the terrible reviews and wound up not going.  So yes, I'd consider it.

What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters? If I liked the previews and it actually got semi-good reviews.  Also, if FI and I both want to see it.  We don't usually pay to go to the theatre if it's something only one of us wants to see or if we're not totally sold on it.

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live? Between $8-10 in the evening, and matinees are $6-7 I think.  I still carry my student ID though, and use that for a dollar or two discount occasionally :-)
  • What is the scariest movie you've ever seen? I dunno.  Movies people say are scary never seem that scary to me.  Like The Ring - not nearly as scary as people say.  FI wouldn't watch 6th Sense at night - not scary.

If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it?  sure, but I hated Ocean's 11.

What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters?  Friends are going and people are going to be talking about it.  Like Harry Potter.  That was the last movie I saw in theater, I think.

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live? $6ish for matinee.  Maybe $9ish for evening.  It's been so long I don't really remember.
  • What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?  The Ring, I liked it though since it was more psychologially scary than gory scary (which I hate!).

If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it?
Probably not in theatres, most movies like that don't end up being good, except for Love Actually.

What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters?
It has to be one that looks really interesting in plot or stars a favorite actor/actress of mine.  Sometimes I'm willing to go if it's an action flick that looks like it would be better in theatres, like Inception looks like it might be worth going to a matinee to see.

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live?
A matinee is $6.50.  I think an evening show is about $9.50 or so, but I rarely go to those.
  • What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?  I don't really do scary movies.  (Scary books I'm fine with, but not movies.)  Silence of the Lambs freaked the hell out of me as a kid, but now it's one of my favorites.

If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it?  Probably wouldn't influence my decision one way or another, since it can go either way.

What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters?  It's all about the visuals.  Some movies simply must be seen on a big screen.  This past weekend DH narrowed it down to Inception and Despicable Me; we wanted to see both, but I chose Inception because I thought it would be a better big-screen experience.

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live?  I think the AMC is about $10-11.  We sometimes go to the higher end theaters in Hollywood, which are more expensive.  A VIP seat at the El Capitan is $20, but it's a reserved seat and includes popcorn and a drink, so it's still a decent deal.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?
The really freaky one with the clowns.  I think it's a Stephen King movie.  No Bueno!

If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it?
I will see most movies but if I'm not super excited to see it (or DH doesn't drag me to it) I wait for it to come out on Netflix.

What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters?
Usually anything DH says we should go see is worth seeing.  He's in the industry so he checks out all the reviews and gets feedback from his fellow movie geeks.

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live?
    I think the regular price is $14 but if it's 3D it's $19.

  • What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?   Paranormal State still gives me nightmares when DH is traveling and I am sleeping alone.

If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it?
I see what I am interested in, regardless of reviews.
What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters?  I like special effects and cool things that are better on the big screen than on the TV at home.

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live? For a matinee it's $7.50 and for a regular movie, $10.50.

What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?
I used to love scary movies until I watched the Grudge.  FI played a mean trick on me and I haven't been able to watch horrors ever since.
28 days later gave me an anxiety attack since something like that will probably happen one day.
If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it?
Disliked Valentine's day but I'm partial to the Ocean's 11 trilogy since it's the first movie FI and I saw together :)

What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters?
Previews are really important.  Good storyline and we love going to see stupid comedies or movies based on books I've read.  My girls and I love chick flicks!

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live?
like $15.00 and 90% of the seats are broken, the floor is sticky and the popcorn tastes like crap.  We also don't get a lot of good movies (didn't get any of the twilight series, alice in wonderland, toy story 3 (my friends son turns 5 Sunday so we'll probably doing a road trip an hour away to go see TS3 in a tiny cinema because it's not coming here!)... so most people drive 4 hours away to go see a movie they've been waiting for) but there's not much else to do around here.

What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?   Paranormal Activity and The Ring (I know that's ridiculous, but at the time...)

If a movie has 10 stars (Like Valentine's Day) would you even consider seeing it?
If the previews interest me, I watch it.

What makes a movie worth seeing in the theaters? 3D movies like Avatar and Alice in Wonderland.

How much does it cost for you to go to the movies where you live? Honestly, I can't really remember because I have Comcast On Demand or the FI pays for us if we go out.
