Do I need STDs?

I don't know why this isn't something I've considered before.

We are planning an intimate ceremony with immediate family only (<10 people). We've been verbally discussing ideas with family (we know the weekend and city). Are STDs still necessary? I wasn't planning on it, but what would you recommend?

    STDs are never necessary.
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    If it's only 10 of you and they have been involved in the discussions and already know the plan, I'd say skip them.  The whole point of a STD is to make sure people know the date, but it sounds like they already do.
