Small Intro and Proposal Question

Hi Everyone!!! Just wanted to introduce myself. I got engaged on August 3rd to my fiancee. She is the love of my life. We have been through lots of hardships along the way not with each other but the people around us and the drama we have dealt with. Anyways, this might be a question for the guys but also for the girls that are engaged, have you or your fiance tell you after your proposal wished that you \ fiance could have done something differently during your proposal or did not go according to as plan?

For my proposal, I guess I felt that I didn't imagine it going the way it went but of course I still got the YES! haha.. Its like I keep looking back on it, that's all.

    Congratulations! No I can't say we would have wanted anything to go differently....it really does not need to be one of those 'picture perfect' moments, because it is yours and it only happens once (hopefully). The two of you love each other and have decided to spend the rest of your lives together, that is the important thing. There is no need to dwell on how it happened and what you could have changed, you got the result you were hoping for, right?

    I wish that I wasn't so overcome with emotion. I saw the ring and basically blanked out, and never even got to hear Fi ask "will you marry me?" :(

    Thank you for the congrats! You're right singinchick. I guess maybe I like to nitpick a lot ;) I will post my proposal in a little bit. Its a bit long but I hope you are in the discussion!! However, I will shorten it. The long version practically has the feelings of what I went through.

    Hi hlvonb! The nervousness was the killer for me. I can hear my heart throbbing in my chest up until the time I had to propose. Thanks for replying!!

    My fiance just spur-of-the-moment rolled out of bed and proposed while I was still in the bed, lol. Nothing fancy or planned out, but I wouldn't change anything about it. :)

    If we could do it all over again, I wouldn't want him to change a single thing! I just wish that I would have paid better attention to what he actually said! I really wanted to say yes, and it seems liked forever before he actually popped the question, and I was just so overwhelmed and excited that I don't remember what he said. 
    And neither does FI :D

    Congrats! My fiance proposed when it was just the two of us and he recorded it. I wouldn't have changed a single thing.

    My fiance proposed in a very casual setting. He had just gotten the ring via post and wanted to get it on my finger ASAP! So it ended up he just slipped it on my finger while we were watching TV. He says he wishes he had been more romantic about it but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
