I am breaking up with cocktails with you. Gave 'em up for Lent (...but still "allowing" myself wine). Figured it's twofold - practicing the art of sacrifice AND cutting back on calories. It's a win/win!

  • this was my first try, @TwoDimes.  I liked the zucchini but those options sound good, too!
  • @minskat30- I gave up alcohol completely for a while in January. It has made a huge difference with how I feel and especially with bloating. I think I've developed an allergy towards it and it was making me feel extremely ill...even if I had one glass of wine, I would get itchy and stuffy and I would wake up feeling like I had a cold. I hope you start to see differences with this, it has helped me a lot!

Wine is my weakness but cocktails just pack too many calories.  Time to give it up.

Good for you.  We are selling our house and moving soon so, like you, I'm not giving up my wine yet.  I should... but I should do a lot of things.  :)
