Clarisonic..anyone have it/tried it?

I am thinking about getting the Clairsonic and thought I’d see if anyone has tried it/own it?  If so, what is your opinion of it?  I asked this on the WB board and thought I’d ask it here too.

Thanks in advance!

I have owned mine for a year now...
I travel a lot, so if something can make it into my suitcase... Its good ;)
However Clarisonic does not make my tolietry bag. Soooooo overated! I wish i never wasted my money on it! I am back to my face brush for travels!
The Clarisonic did not get tossed, i still use it at home... but i wish i could trade it for Shoes!

I bought mine for the wedding and love it. I use it regularly, like once a month. First step is steam and then Clarisonic paired with my favorite scrub.

Which one do you have?  The mia, classic or plus?  I'm trying to decide on which one to get if I do decide to purchase.  I love the idea of steaming the face first, what do you use?  <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />  I've been youtubing reviews on the Clairsonic and all have been rave so I had to ask the board.  :)

What don't you like about it?  Does it not work or just personal preference?

I have the Mia. I don't always remember to add herbs to the steam but a simple camomille will do the trick. In winter I like to pour in a few drops of eucalyptus oil and make it a double duty steam, for congestion :)

OMG I love the way that sounds....I should go out and buy a steamer now.  :-)  That would be a great way to end the evening in the winter.  <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif" border="0" alt="Laughing" title="Laughing" />  Thank you wiwi!

Oh yes...do you feel the mia, 1 speed is enough or should I do the Plus which has 3 and has a body brush head?

<div>Oh I don't know about the Plus... depends on how much you want to splurge, I guess. It does sound appealing, though :) Is there a place where you can test them that you can go to?</div><div>
</div><div>I should mention that I don't use a professional steamer. I do it very frugally... just boil some water, stick my face on it and cover my head with a towel. Not very fancy! Ha!</div>

It's been out for a couple years I think. That's what I gather from the YouTube videos. I figure I'd try something new. Yes the Mia is $119 the classic is $195 and the plus is $225. 1 speed 2 speed and 3 speeds. The plus also has a body brush. Maybe for a Christmas gift from me to me. lol

I've had my Clarisonic for a couple years now and I love it! I use it almost daily and if I stop, I definitely notice a different. My skin looks so much better and feels softer when I use it. :)

I have had my clarisonic for almost 2 years and use it every time I wash my face. I absolutely love it, and totally recommend it. Its waterproof so I just bring it in the shower with me. I was not blessed with perfect skin, but the clarisonic has really made a huge difference in my complexion. I rarely breakout anymore, and my skin is so soft and smooth.

I have the classic, but I use the same speed everytime so I think you are fine getting the Mia and saving some money. Plus it is much smaller and easier to travel with (not that the classic is huge... I still take it with me everytime I spend the night somewhere). Also depends on if you feel like you need for face and body... if you really only want/need it for the face, then the Mia is the way to go.

And I actually just bought a new brush head a couple weeks ago from Ulta and got a travel bag for my clarisonic along with a normal brush head for free. Might want to check and see if they are still doing that free gift there if you're considering purchasing soon.

    claire.

Costco sells an Oil of Olay version of this for $37 at our local Costco. (it's a little more via Costco's website - $45) (see link at bottom). Costco also sells several other Clarisonic type brushes with one with multiple brushes for $60 (see links below).

It's a battery version and although it's not the same as my Clarisonic, I still use it and it's very nce.

I have both the Clarisonic Pro (from Ebay new for something like $200 - supposedly retail at $300 something) and the Oil of Olay battery facial brush, they both are great.

I like mine too and use it daily.
