not a happy post

Early saturday morning one of my best girlfriends passed away. Im on such a roller coaster of emotions she was one of the funniest girls i know, so there are a ton of laughs thinking of all the crazy funny stories followed by bawling .

I have been nothing but excited for the wedding but now every time it comes up i dont even want to talk about it
. My mom is in mega get ready mood and i just want to scream.

I have a bridal shower this evening and im going to do my best to put on a happy face but i dont even want to go doesnt feel right.

    omg that is horrible! I am so so sorry!! She must of been pretty young that is terrible. I can't really say much to make you feel better I'm sure just know I'm sure she is up there smiling down on you and I'm sure she will be with you still on your wedding day. *Hugs*

    @thesepinkdays I am so sorry for your loss. While I can't say "I know how you feel", I can come pretty close, as I lost my older sister to cancer in October, one month after getting engaged... so I can definitely empathize with the roller coaster of emotions that come with all things wedding related and feeling that loss. Take the time YOU need to grieve and know that the days of smiles accompanied by tears will come and go. Hugs to you!

    Aww sorry for the loss of one of your best friends. I know where your mom is coming from but she needs to understand you need some time to grieve. Maybe delegate some stuff to her so you can have some time to grieve and she can still be in "get ready" mode. *hugs*

    Thanks so much ladies. I am ok. She was a bit of a mess so we knew it would happen one day but doesn't make it easier. I will still enjoy our day she would kick my ass if I didn't haha. Again thank you for all your kind words it really means a lot.

    so sorry to hear this Pinky, but like a few of the girls have said she'll be there on your wedding day partying right by your side, you just won't be able to see her. Maybe you could wear something or have an extra flower, or a candle in her memory ;)
