The sun is coming up!  The little snow we from yesterday is melting!  It's not supposed to snow in the next 10 days!

AND best of all...I have TWO clean closets!  ;)

I was so productive yesterday.  It was amazing.

We're going to rent a storage unit this weekend and we have a stack of boxes to put in it from our garage. I can't wait.

I need to tackle my kitchen soon.  I am sure there is stuff I can pack up and put in storage or take to Goodwill.

Re: Good morning lovelies!

  • I made the mistake of going out to dinner after work with coworkers yesterday. The restaurant was really loud, so it was stressful after a very stressful day of people yelling at me for no reason. Because of this, I'm dragging ass today. I have Japanese after work, but I doubt I'm gonna be able to build coherent sentences for conversation.

Tomorrow looks like a better day schedule-wise. I have symphony in the evening, and it's supposed to be pretty good -- Ben Folds is doing the world premiere of a new piano concerto at the symphony hall in Nashville. Yesterday, I also got the confirmation eMail from the symphony regarding next year's season tickets, yaaaay. They're doing my favorite Beethoven symphony next year (the 7th), so I'm stoked.

This weekend, husband is beta'ing Elder Scrolls Online again, so we're probably gonna just sit at home watching Breaking Bad some more. We're almost to the end of the fourth season, so I have no doubt that we'll finish it off this weekend!

  • Yesterday was a pretty good day.  I got to play around some more with my new toy.

Today is the first day of spring break.  I'm really enjoying sitting around in my leggings, and not having to look presentable enough to walk into DD1's school.  I did shower, though, because I worked out a couple hours ago, but I'll take the leggings and no makeup.

YAY leggings!  ;)   I love that I don't have to worry about what I look like at drop-off because I'm the only one who shows up at the time I drop-off DefConn.  I usually do put on jeans/look presentable for pick-up because other parents are there or have to run errands.

Effing van doors are frozen.  I got one all the way open, but boy that's a PITA way to do carseats.
  • thejucheidea, when you go to the symphony, DO NOT clap between movements!  ;-)

Holy crap.  Gma is in the hospital and I'm waiting for news, that I hope will come by noon.  If not, I suppose wait longer?

    *serenity now*

So I sit here at work completely distracted and a bit angry.  Normal angry I guess.

Also, Juche, I'd love to know what "beta"ing is.  I have no idea, I'm sure I could google it, but I know you describe it better.  So help an O-face out.
  • Eek @ o...serenity!

Yeah, no more vacay, back at work. Can I go home now???

Yesterday was ridic lazy and productive. Watched some backlogged Doctor Who, but we got all our tax docs together for DH to take them to the accountant today. Also filed a TON of paperwork and will probably go back, determine how long we keep what, and purge even more stuff. Give some more stuff away, box up some old DD clothes to send to a friend, community shred day on the calendar...we might actually be getting the house cleaned out :D

  • Oface, when a game is in "beta", it's being tested out.  Elder Scrolls is an massive multiple player online game, and a number of people were invited to test it out.  The company will take the info and use it to fix bugs, bad play, stories, etc.

We have a convention this weekend that I'm looking forward to, but it'll make Saturday long.  Working my butt off at work today.  Taking a mental break for 15 minutes here.

So you play a game, and figure out the possible issues?  Sounds like a win to me!  Woo.  Sometimes maybe not, I suppose but still...:)

Also, my BFF is coming to visit this weekend, I am excited.

  • It's a pretty big deal to be invited to beta, especially if you're in the opening days of it.  Usually it's to people who've been an active subscriber/player for a long time (I was invited to beta one of WoW's expansions back in the day the second weekend...impressive, but not as impressive as the first.  :D).  Major nerd cred.  :D
  • I have a migraine because the prescription on my new contacts is a little off and switching from those to my glasses didn't help.
