So I am honored that all 5 girls I asked accepted to be in my bridal party. Unfortunately my guy friend felt too awkward being in the party, but will honor us with a reading (for those of you who remember that thread). Now I'm trying to figure out clothing. I've asked all but one for their budget. Consensus is that it stays under 200 and the one I have left to ask shouldn't matter, since we will be buying her dress (she is my younger cousin and cannot afford to pay for her own since she is traveling). So now we are trying to decide. Since they are spread out over the states, we were thinking of selecting a color and allowing them to pick their own dress. I am not the most fashionable person and I honestly don't care. FI has requested that we don't choose black because it would be too grim and I'm okay with that.
We were debating between Navy and Alfred Angelo's Mediterranean Blue.
Would Navy be too dark? Would Mediterranean Blue be a different color at other designers?
Should we just send swatches or something?
Or should we select Alfred Angelo as a designer and request they choose one of those dresses? I like the dresses and variety better than DB, but haven't seen any in person?
And do you think long or short would be better? We can't seem to decide and the girls refuse to give opinions.
Our wedding is on De, so not a big rush, just wanted to give the girls the info and then not worry about it. Honestly FI cares more than I do. I was just going to say pick blue, but he requested matching shades (and he doesn't request much, so I'm okay with it). Also our wedding is at a fancy country club with a dress code (girls must have some sort of strap), in the evening during winter in OR (but everything will be indoors). That might help you with suggestions!
Oh and I really don't care about jewelry or shoes or hair or makeup. I was thinking of getting them cute little wraps (to cover their arms) to use or not (not as a gifts, gifts are birthday style) while they walk to the car or whatever. Just in case they get chilly.
