Ice Cream Rental!

Has anyone in the Columbus area ever had soft serve ice cream at their wedding, or a wedding they attended? I'm not really looking for a truck, more just a machine rental since I have a feeling that would be cheaper than a truck. Soft serve is my all-time favorite treat, and I would love to be able to include it in our wedding. I have visions of dishes of rainbow sprinkles surrounding the machine. Lol.

So if anyone has done this or been to a wedding where it's been done and could get me in touch with the person, please let me know! I have no idea how much this sort of rental would cost.

Have you checked with your venue? They might know a vendor or require you to go through them.

I can only find snow cone and margarita machine rentals in Cbus. I wonder if the milk issue makes them less rentable?? idk

Thanks! Yes I saw the one in Toledo when I google searched as well. I called them today--owner is Mark--and he was super nice and helpful! And to rent a dual-flavored machine plus the cost of the ice cream mix is right around $300!! (Just in case anyone else stumbles upon this thread and is curious...or am I even allowed to post prices?)

But anyway, yes this needs to happen. I just have to ask my venue if I'm allowed. 0:)
