Underarm waxing

I wax my eye brows and get bazilian waxes and plan to do so a few days before my wedding.

I HATE my underarm hair, I naturally have dark hair so I always feel that no matter what I do it never looks 'clean'. I tried epilating once and cried it hurt so bad under the arm. I dont want a '5 O'Clock shadow' on my pits on my wedding day! Espeially since I'm in a strapless gown!  Does anyone wax their underarms? Worth it? How bad? Worse than an everything brazilian? (Which i have gotten used to now)

    I wish I could afford the laser but I also don't have time for that, my wedding is November!

    Do it!!! You will love it.  I did it 3 days before my wedding and on the big day it was smooth.    And I didn't have to worry about it on our honeywoom either!  

    Don't wait till the day of because you may get some red patches for a day.  But it's so worth it.  and NO 5 O'CLOCK SHAWDOW!  Really.

    I also recommend laser hair removal. The place I go to you need 6 weeks inbetween sessions.
    So you could probably get 1-3 sessions in before your wedding. Even after 2 sessions I saw amazing results! So happy I did it! It does cost a bit but sometimes you can get discounts when you buy a package of X number of treatments, etc

    I got mine waxed last week to test it out. I went to the European Wax Center, they have them in a lot of locations. They used the hard wax and it wasn't painful at all compared to a Brazilian. I def recommend getting waxed the day before your wedding!

    Do you like the European Wax Center? There's one near my house, that I've been thinking about trying. I'm torn, because I have a girl that I LOVE, but she's so far away, and kind of expensive. 

    Sorry for the threadjack, I do eyebrow and brazilian waxing. Never done my underarms, but I can't imagine it hurting worse than a brazilian. Maybe try getting it done once soon, to see if you get the results you want, and to make sure you don't get weird red patches, or ingrown hairs or something. That would also give you an idea of how long it lasts, and when you should schedule an appointment before your wedding.

    Make sure you wax a few days before so you do not have swelling or any irritation.  It is not anymore uncomfortable then the brazilin.  I LOVE waxing my underarms!

    European Wax Center is awesome!  I live in Miami and go to EWC all the time.  I'm moving to Atlanta after the wedding and I'm happy to hear there's at least one there. I'll be lookikng for it.

    As far as underarms go, waxing leaves them so smooth and it's very convenient.  I did experience a very nasty ingrown hair in that area so I stopped.  Probably because of sweat glands, I imagine.  I'll do it again just for the wedding though.
