Happy Friday everyone

Any exciting plans? I am being totally unproductive at work today, I just cannot focus. It is such a beautiful, sunny day out. I want to be out shopping and doing something fun. I want to go out to dinner after work, so I'm going to go on Yelp and try to find a restaurant to go to with FI later on. Other than that, not much going on this Friday. I'm just here counting down the clock till 5...

Like you, I am a complete waste of space today at work

It's been a long week and I'm ready to break free!

I'm actually going to check out some wedding dresses during my lunch & after work. Then, we have a soccer game (FI & I play in a coed indoor league). Unfortunately, the game doesn't start until 10:30 p.m., which is an hour later than I typically go to bed because I'm an old lady in a young body. Hopefully some extra coffee will keep me from falling asleep on D!

We have nothing planned this weekend and I'm super excited about it!!! Well, Sunday we're going to a parade/party, but that's it.

Also, confession - I just lied to my mom. She asked if we wanted to come for dinner Saturday night and I said we had plans. However, in my defense, it's a 90 minute drive one way and I can't bring my dog (so no staying overnight w/out lining up doggie care).

I get to leave work a little early today (around 5:30) since I came in for an early meeting so I will have plenty of time to get home before my alma mater tips off in the NCAA tournament. We haven't made it to the Big Dance since I was in college so I'm really excited.

I'm even more excited to actually have a whole weekend off I worked three in a row and need a break! Today will actually get pretty busy around lunchtime though so hopefully that will keep me from engaging in too much clock watching.

My show opens this weekend. Yay! I also need to work on invites and the wedding band we designed is ready so we are going to check it out tomorrow, so I hope it's what we envisioned!!!

I got FSS a gift certificate to an indoor skydiving place for Christmas so I think we are going to try to do that tomorrow. I've never been to one before but they look super cool - hope it's fun!

Today, I'm just going to work to keep my eyes open. So.freakin.tired.

Date night tonight with Fi. Tomorrow dinner with his parents. Sunday I have girls' day out with my bffs (we are going to see The Lego Movie and then a Japanese noodle house).

ClimbingBrideNY - Aww, my parents are also a 90 minute drive away so I feel your pain. Maybe your mom could come visit next weekend? Now that the weather is nicer I think I'll make a trip out to see my parents one of these weekends.

ElcaB wow that's late for a soccer game! My coworker plays a lot of soccer too, he is in a league. He's asked me to play a couple of times but I am pretty horrible at all sports. I once got a black eye playing soccer and have been scared of playing ever since lol

I'm having lunch with a former co-worker today, which is awesome! Stoked to see her.

Then DH and I are going out for (vegetarian) pizza tonight for Lent. There's a new pizzeria he wants to try, and I looked at their menu, and they have a bazillion veggie toppings options, so I'm pretty excited about that.

Other than that, glad it's Friday. It's been a long week.

I had a dental appointment this morning and only got to work 40 minutes ago. I'm glad I'm stuck in document review all day, as it prevents me from having to think much with the distractions of the knot, beautiful weather outside, and a desire to be home tugging at me.

DH rented American Hustle to watch tonight. We're going to a bday party tomorrow, and I've a list of all the crap that needs doing around the house. At least all the remaining wedding thank you notes are done and in the mail, less than 2 weeks after getting hitched! score!

My friend texted me last night to see if I wanted to go up to our college town to party if they won. I was totally down to re-live my college days!

@pinkcow13 Sorry to hear that; I know I'll be very disappointed if my team loses, especially considering how excited I am for tonight. If they do win, FI and I are seriously considering going to the tournament for their next game. Going to March Madness is on our bucket list and seeing the alma mater in action would make it even more fun.

I'm also on the unproductive side at work today. It's Friday, our office is pretty relaxed as-is, and my manager is on PTO, so... zero motivation.

I'm loving my floral pants. LOVE. I wish I had a pic for you guys.

Tonight, I'm going to drink wine and clean. Tomorrow, I have my second dress fitting! Hooray! Then more cleaning.

Sunday, FBIL and FSIL are coming over for brunch and to help us decide how to reno the kitchen to fit the appliances we bought off of them (their house had new ones, but not the ones they wanted, and we needed new ones. Win-win!)

Feeling unproductive today at work. Some drama between FI and my parents last night and I'm totally off my groove. FI is working this weekend which means I get some girly alone time- hair cut, mani/pedi, and working out. Sunday I'm going shopping for a dress for my bridal shower next weekend!
(Side note- anybody else not diggin the new styles that are out for spring? Everything makes me look lumpy and odd shaped. Blegh.)

I have 2 monitors at work, which I love when I am working on a bunch of different projects at once. I love it even more when I don't have anything to do all day and I can stream Parenthood on Netflix.

Tonight, I am going to see a show with my girlfriends. Tomorrow is FI's nieces birthday party and dinner with friends. Sunday Fi and I are continuing our (neverending) search for an apartment.

I'm currently figuring out just how ruined my weekend is.

I forgot to do a timepoint in an experiment yesterday, which means I have to come in both tomorrow AND Sunday. Since tomorrow is cake tastings all day, that means I won't get to work until late, and that means my Saturday and Sunday evenings are completely gone.

I'm completely unfocused today. It's not good. Happy about the weekend though!

We're childless this weekend! Woohoo! FI's ex wife is actually taking their son for one of her weekends. Shocking! Sadly, we currently have a broken washing machine and a 15 year old who uses more clothing than any 4 people combined so tonight will be a trip to the laundromat. But tomorrow's even better!

A morning trip to my parent's for wedding talk. I'm pretty sure it's going to be some topic that pisses me off/hurts my feelings but I've decided to be excited!

My BMs and MOH and are all going to David's tomorrow afternoon to look at dresses. I'm tagging along (they decided on their own to go - I specified a black dress of similar lengths and don't have strong feelings).

My sis and our childhood friend are driving together so we're going for lunch together first.
FSILs are coming over to the house for an hour or two after to check out/help out with some of the crafts I've been working on.

Then date night! Woohoo!

I am trying to wolf down my lunch at my desk. Its been slow customer wise today, and I got most of my self-imposed work done. (Manager is on vacation, and instead of dicking around, I'm being productive)

This weekend is busy. I work all weekend, I'm going to a friends bridal shower before work tomorrow. Sunday FI and I are having dinner with his parents and discussing rentals for the wedding. Oh and tonight FI has friends coming over I hope he cleans the bathroom.

My next day off is Tuesday. I will be tbe grumpiest come Monday.

chibiyui lol you sound like me, whenever FI tells me someone is coming over I always think he better have cleaned the bathroom! Unless I'm home and he is on his way with his cousin or something, I'll run in there and clean it real quick. I don't have any days off until April

Home sick. I have the cold that went around my workplace a couple weeks ago. Day 1: sore throat. Day 2: sniffles. Day 3: sledgehammer to the head. I managed to make it through the morning, but now I'm home resting for the afternoon.

@shrekspere, they are done because a) I wrote notes as I received wedding gifts, starting back in December, b) I wrote 8 the afternoon of my wedding, after reception, before FI and I had dinner, while drinking wine as FI napped, and c) after we got back from our trip, I wrote them all on Sunday evening, addressed everything Monday, and made FI drop them in the mail. My services are for hire, but you must give me notes on who is who so I can personalize them and you must also pay me in wine.
