Wedding Invitations & Paper

Sense of accomplishment

I don't know why I was so stressed about these invitations.  I just finished making 1/3 of my invites, today. At this rate, i will have my invites done by next week. It is so good when you realize your DIY project was within your realm of craftiness. Knocking on wood that I didn't jinx myself.  It will annoy me to have those invites staring at me until Sunday when I can tackle them, again. Happy Dance :D

Re: Sense of accomplishment

  • Yay! I hope my DIY projects go this smoothly.

  • @TilaT25 The buildup of stress for DIY is far worse than the actual projects.  Once you start tackling them, they seem a lot more fun and a lot less like work.
  • That's great!
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

I had some issues with my invitations (printing problems, then cutting problems) but once I got it all figured out and got them put together, it was the biggest relief.  Best feeling ever was when they were dropped off at the post office!  At that point, I was sick of making them and just wanted them out!
