Centerpiece Help

My fiancé and I are making our centerpieces ourselves and need a little bit of help. The vases we bought for the centerpieces are all the same height, they were much cheaper than buying ones of different heights, but I want to make it look like they are different heights like this:

But I have no clue where to get boxes like that or something for the vases to rest on to create that tiered look.

Any suggestion?

I would just get a plastic box and spray paint.

This is an idea of my centerpieces. (imagine the water and floating candle on top and candles in the votive holders sitting on a big hexagon mirror tile). I just cemented the vase to a candle stick holder. Something like that may work for you. Candlestick holders are only $1 at Dollar Tree.

I would just get small boxes, and paint them.

You might be able to find candle holders or decorative boxes at craft stores/home stores that are already the color you're looking for, if you don't want to paint them like PPs suggested.

You can use various sized Small gift boxes (think jewelery boxes, ornament boxes, small vases boxes), stuff them with newspaper or tissue paper to make it a little solid and wrap them using a solid colored wrapping paper
