I am doing a slide show during the cocktail hour for our guest. I was wondering if I should have all the photos just show randomly or should they go from younger to older?  Just curious on peoples opinion.

    Slideshows only work when they are quietly in the background. Don't make it a captive audience where everyone has to stop what they are doing to watch. That being said, I would have it go from younger to older, and no longer than 3-4 minutes.

    I agree-they work best when they are background entertainment that does not force anyone to stop eating, drinking, mingling, or dancing to watch it.  So don't make an announcement that you're going to play it, turn out the lights, and run it.  Instead, you might run it on a loop.

    Great advice! That is what I was thinking of doing. I didn't want it to be a big deal. Just a small detail going on in the background for people to look at while making small talk.
