Ceromony Locations? Skyline Chapel vs Tropicana vs Flamingo vs Treasure Island??

I think I've narrowed it down to these four spots for the ceromony, any thoughts, advice, comments, reviews on any of these? I have the hardest time making up my mind! So thought hearing what others were doing or reviews on already being married at one of these spots would help!

  • Well there's a couple of us here going with Flamingo. I love the garden gazebo at flamingo. We went to see it during the summer and I loved it :) I also really liked tropicana bUT decided to go with flamingo They have been really great to work with too! Also they recently remodeled the chapel and it looks great!

  • What date are you looking at?  My only hesitation with TI is there is a lot of construction there right now with the store front they are putting in.

I looked at Flamingo and loved it, the grounds are really pretty.  We ended up going with Mirage since we wanted to do a reception at the same location and Mirage ended up being cheaper.

I've also seen some good reviews on here for Trop and Skyline Chapel.  Are you able to go visit them at all?  That is what really helped seal the deal for us.
We had our dream wedding at Mirage on May 3, 2014!

  • We're at the Trop. The garden area outside is lovely and so is their newly renovated chapel area...
  • I'm gonna try and take a trip out in a few weeks to see in person, I think the best photo ops are at the trop and the flamingo due to their grounds, skyline is beautiful but I'm not sure bout the rest of the hotel! Narrowing dates for March 2015 early April. I think I would prefer an outside ceremony!

Are you more into an outdoor or indoor wedding? Trop and Flamingo are pretty tops when it comes to garden weddings, I like both settings.

And I don't know if this has any bearing whatsoever, especially if you've had email contact with their planners, but TI was the only chapel out of more than a dozen Strip hotel chapels I saw on one of my research trips where they treated me like I was nothing. Flippant about answering questions I had, filing their nails at the desk... maybe it was just an off day, but pretty crappy customer service. Just my opinion.

  • Another + for the Flamingo is their reasonable outside vedor fees. I got to bring in my own floral, videographer, photographer and officiant. Yes I paid $500 in outside vendor fee but considering I got their cheapest package ($395) The entire ceremony was still under $1000.

Some venues charge insane amounts or simply do not allow outside vendors.
