There is a dressmaker out of China, and the site apears to be JC Penney's unless you look at the address closely. It is then that you notice it is JCdresspenny (and with the exception of the missing e, I still might have just thought that's what their bridal site was called). I chose a couple of dress options for my bridesmaids (I never cared if they matched, just wanted them in generally the same color, and the dresses were cheap), and a couple of them ordered. They didn't want to upset me, so they didn't tell me about the problems they had, first, that they had to either wire money to China or use a credit card. Red flag!! Two of them had to repeatedly place the order (one canceled her credit card). The only American contact seems to be someone in New York. The first to order ordered in her size, and it was too small--good luck returning to China.
The second got the entirely the wrong dress, and emailed them and they called her a liar and told her the bride changed her mind and she's just trying to get her money back even though she sent them a photo. They sent her back a photo of something resembling the dress she ordered and said that's what they sent her. I finally found out about all of these issues when my sister told me, and I told the rest to NOT use this site and go wherever. My sister managed to cancel her order at a 25% penalty--we'll see what happens to her credit card.
Stay away. There are other cheap options! I have seen other people happy with knock off dresses made in China, but this is not the outfit to use.
