Wedding Bug Photography?

So, I had my heart set on wedding bug photography, all i had read was good reviews (on their site) UNTIL I searched them in google and found so many negative reviews they out weighed the positive. I heard they contract out and you don't know who the photographer is until 2 weeks until your wedding date. AND you don't know if you're even getting a good photographer! I was going to book them TOMORROW after we talked to my parents. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with them in the Houston area? Or anything good to say about any other Houston photographers/videographers?  Thanks!!

    My photographer was Barrett with Civic Photos. He went above my expectations. He is the owner of Civic Photos so rest assured he will be the photographer taking pictures on the wedding day. You should check out his work! www.civicphotos.com

We looked at the lady that did my sisters wedding in April but the only package that suited us was 1200 for unlimited pics, an engagement session, and a cd with 150 pictures and 2 photographers for the day, but then what about video? ya know? UGH!</p>

    I almost went with George Street Photography and then found out they did the same thing (outside contractors, can't meet them until day of, etc). I ditched them and went with Emily from Fleurish Imagery and holy cow, I love her. Not only is she a spectacular photog, she has such an awesome personality. I even went to a wedding she shot at and fell in love with her even more.

     We are on a tight budget and the photographer we thought we could afford, just informed us of "additional" costs to get the photo's and won't supply a disk.  We just paid a deposit with Wedding Bug for a wedding in Galveston in June 2014.  Does anyone have any experience with them in Galveston? The entire process of getting a photographer with a chance of having horrible photos is making me a nervous wreck.  Thanks.
