Disappointed in Mon Cheri

I ordered what I believed to be a beautiful dress from the David Tutera for Mon Cheri line. The style is called "Hilary", and the color is "tea rose"... so, a sort of light blush color that is stained with tea. Not even the dress I had pictured myself in, but totally fell in love with it.

Well, my dress came in this weekend, and lets just say that it was NOT the right color. It looked as if it had been dyed with tea, but no rose! The blushy color sash that was supposed to be on it, looked like it was the color of burlap. The order from my bridal shop was perfect, and so when they contacted Mon Cheri, they were less than helpful. They said that their dye lot had been changed and that is how it is. It is very hard when you have your mind set on something, and now I have to start the search all over again, or try to make something out of the dress that I got. $1300 down the tube.

So, word to the wise- don't buy an off color dress, and don't buy from Mon Cheri.

do you have any pictures of the actual  dress you received so we can see it have you contacted the salon to see if they can rectify the problem?

you also have to remember salon gowns have been tried on by many brides and as they sit around the colors fade,

i hope the salon can find a way to fix the problem

did you check out preowned wedding dresses to see if the dress was being sold in your size in the correct dye lot
