I had a horrible nightmare about the wedding! Everything was booked and good to go, but no one had informed me or any of the details, so I woke up on my wedding day confused and couldn't find anyone to tell me what was going on.
I was getting ready, by myself, in a giant room with strangers and random coworkers walking around. I'm going to put my dress on and I notice there are tiny colorful spots kinda splatter painted all over it. Every time I got dressed, something would go wrong, like I put on stockings with a black sock still on my foot under the stockings. I did that a few times, and then when I went to put my stockings on, they tore. It took me forever to get ready and then my fiance came to pick me up in my car wearing blue jeans with gold all over them, a white shirt with random colored blobs on it, and a white jacket that matched the shirt. I told her she looked like Elvis, and then I realized we were supposed to do a big reveal at the venue, but she said the photographer didn't feel like doing it, and that she decided she didn't want to wear her dress.
We got to the venue, which was not the right venue, and all the guests were leaving! Apparently I took too long getting ready so they sent everyone away. My hair and makeup wasn't done, and then I found out that it was only going to be done for the reception. All the guests were kind of hanging out in the hallways of a hotel, and I kept asking them if it was really my wedding or a bad dream, and they were telling me it was really my wedding. The guests were random people from my past, not actual friends or people I'm inviting, and they were all telling me it was really my wedding. I woke up and felt like I wanted to cry.
We're about 4 1/2 months from the wedding, which is scary to say because the time is really flying! I feel like I just picked out my dress, but that was November! Maybe the stress of it all is getting to me. I'm sure there's people out there who can relate? Just needed to vent because this was my first wedding nightmare and I'm scared it won't be the last!
