Just over 3 months to go. I'm almost starting to get excited. (I said almost - I'd still rather elope!) I crossed one big item off my To Do list today by finishing the ceremony. One of our dear friends is getting ordained so she can marry us, and since she has her hands full with her children, her job, and putting her house on the market, I offered to do the leg-work of writing the ceremony so she would have something she could use as is or could add to/subtract from/tweak as she saw fit.
I'm fairly happy with it. FI is thrilled with it. Since I've mostly been to church weddings, I have on idea if what I created is good or not. I basically found a bunch of ceremony scripts online and picked bits and pieces of each that I thought fit FI and I well. Does anyone want to give it a read-through and let me know if 1) it's intelligible (English is not my first language and I get too wordy sometimes) and 2) anything is missing from it?
Thanks in advance.
