  Yeh - I would NOT have been able to cope with that. Even just reading through your post I started to get cold sweats and thinking "OMG.... did shoebunnie say she was a Flamingo bride - OMFG... what if it was MY hotel.... AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!". How cruel. But a great prank nonetheless.

  He got me. I should've known better but with the wedding brain and all I can't think straight. Add to that the fact that in the six years we've been together he's never pulled out and April Fools joke on me. At least he made it a good one! I think I will let him make it up to me with a massage!! @missmo14 nope not Flamingo, we are at the Cosmopolitan!

  Just goes to show - a few of us on here are hyper-sensitive about our weddings. I find talking to FI about the wedding really calming actually cos he is so sweet at the moment. His mantra is... as long as I come down the aisle and say "I do" his day will be perfect. Nawwwwww shucks *love*

  I wish I could stop caring about all of the other million things I want to go well on the day!

  Mine calms me too, most of time.  When I start to obsess over details he reminds me it's not that big of a deal and everything will be great.  I know he's right I just want to not have any surprises.  Some days I think "ok, so what if something doesn't go as planned, we will change it on the fly!!" The rest of the time I feel a panic bubbling beneath the surface that something will go wrong.  Luckily for me the FI is quick on his feet and so is my sister so they can handle any unexpected surprises and hopefully I will be none the wiser!

  I personally would have freaked out and I have 4 months. In my defense I have horrible travel luck. Fortunately most of the time it happens after I leave so heads up to the October and November brides stay away from the Bellagio. I have been personally been blamed by my family and friends for the destruction of two cruise ships, three hurricanes and two hotel fires. Thank goodness it's usually after I leave

  @jaime85120 I love it! we had a standing joke in my family that if I wanted to run a guy off I just needed to introduce them to my family. Oddly shortly after they met everyone the relationship ended. My family is great but they are rather loud. Needless to say the FI met them within weeks of when we started dating. 6 years later they haven't managed to scare him off, instead he fits in brilliantly! It's just one more reason why I adore him.
