Bachelorette Party - bar games

I'm the MOH in my friend's wedding. She moved out of state and will be back in town (where the wedding will be) the week leading up to the wedding. So she wants to have her bachelorette party during the week, which will include some barhopping.  Does anyone have any ideas of fun "games" or something for at the bars? The only thing I can find is scavenger hunt -type games, but with the party being on a weekday I'm not really sure how many other people will be at the bars.
I mean maybe we don't really need a game, but thought it'd be nice to have at least 1 option. Anyone have any good suggestions?

    I would skip games.

    Unless you go to a bar with Trivia. Trivia is fucking awesome!

    Bring a deck of cards and play drinking games? That's about all I got.

    Just find a good bar that has built in activities: trivia, karaoke, dueling pianos, etc.


    FWIW, I recently went to a bar-hopping b-party on a Wednesday night and it was TERRIBLE because the bride's sister planned for us to go to random college bars that didn't have much going on. Find a good bar strip that's got a healthy patronage or at least a good happy hour crowd.

    Maybe buy her a bachelorette/bride sash, then write some men's names on it. She then has to find men with that name and have them circle their name on the sash.

    I'm also a fan of scavenger hunts, myself.

    Now, this is all assuming that the bride-to-be isn't shy or unwilling to do that sort of thing. It's fun if everyone's on board, it can be embarrassing for people who aren't comfortable with it.

    I've only done the scavenger hunt type game.  This is when I was younger and we had a large enough group to make our own fun even on a weeknight.  As long as the bride is into it and there are a couple of outgoing girls in the group to do the more daring things it can be fun.  I have had just as much fun not doing any games.

    For my bachelorette MOH brought a bag of funny sunglasses, glow bracelets, etc.  People that wanted to wear them did and we all had fun with them.

    I'm a fan of bar scavenger hunt if you have a group of outgoing people who like to socialize with strangers at bars, but I agree that it probably wouldn't work as well on a weeknight unless you are in an area that gets busy even during the week.  You could try doing a drinking game out of it, like the first person who finds a members only jacket or a cougar wearing leopard print gets to make everyone else do a shot.  Still, it only works if the bars are at least somewhat busy.  

    Karaoke and trivia are fun.  If you have some seasoned karaoke singers in the group, you could play kamikaze karaoke, but that would be horrible if you have people that aren't very confident singing.  Maybe you could get some trivia cards (trivial pursuit?) and make a drinking game of it.

    I think I'll go into it with the idea of us just hanging and talking. But have some trivia along for drinking games just in case!

    I got a few card and dice games on-line for my sisters bachelorette. They were a real hit. Some of the things were stupid and we would all laugh at them being stupid and stop playing games for a while. It's definitely a know your crowd thing.

    I'm not a huge fan of games but there is something called a photo safari.  It's like a scavenger hunt where you have to find certain things but instead of "getting" the item you have someone take a group picture of everyone with the item.  So it gives you something to do and the bride has a bunch of pictures of her party, helpful if she's into scrapbooking.

    I don't think the sash/name game is a good idea. As a bride I would not feel comfortable approaching random men in bars for the sake of this game. . .or any for any other reason. I have seen how many guys act towards b-parties and it's icky.

    Why do you gals need to play games? Why not just go out and have drinks together, maybe do some dancing?
