Lack of communication

After several failed attempts of reaching someone by phone at my original ceremony & reception location I sent an email stating we are canceling our contract with them. Mind you they answered every phone call until they received my deposit in February. Since then it seems as if it takes an act of god for a return phone call or email.
My new venue which is paid for I have no issues with the Luxor has been amazing to work with. They will let me know if there may be a delay in communication 99% of the time they get back to me well before said time which in turn makes me happy. They are also totally amazing to work with budget wise. If they can't provide something in budget they try to offer other solutions. I am totally in awe with them and the services provided

  • I would cancel too! Thats frustrating. I hate companies that take your money and never answer you again! Frustrating!

  • Im so lucky ive had really responsive vendors. A big A+ goes to Maggianos and Langdon Videography. Always quick to respond to any and every query including my many stupid questions. The ladies at the Flamingo have been excellent too. I would be so mad if I was basically being ignored by a vendor im contracted with. Im patient but anything over 3 days to respond to an email is unacceptable. Will you lose your deposit though?

  • @missmo14 yes the deposit is non refundable but I would rather lose $500 versus not having the wedding I'm paying for. Plus having it at the same location I'm staying at puts my head, heart, and pockets at ease with knowing everything is taken care of.
  • @kikimira I was getting worried after the first week of kicked back phone calls but we are going into another month. And I know she gets the calls because I called both the office and her cell. The first time I was trying to upgrade my flowers (more money for them) but then I started getting pissed! Oh if and when she decides to answer it is always I have been meaning to call you back crap! I know it doesn't tAke over a month to give me a yes or no answer on if you can get blue /purple roses or lilies in November
  • the girls at Flamingo have been awesome! the only cake company that responded back to me was Drago Sisters, the others it took 3-5 emails to get a response, i went with Drago Sisters

  • I was going to go with them as well but the casino does not allow outside vendors for food or beverage
