Are you having signature drink/drinks?  what is it?  We are going to have 2 - one is based off a Mai Tai and the other is fiance choice-im buying some cute tropical plastic stirers to go with them

    ohhh our venue gives it to us for free, was a promotion they were having the month we booked!

    We just chose to add on imported beer and blended drinks (strawberry daquiri's, etc.) because those are our favorite!! Nothing too "signature"! :)

    We aren't doing any signature drinks. However our open bar will be fully loaded with  Cabernet, Chardonnay, 2 kegs (I think Bud Light and Fat Tire or Heineken, I can't remember what FI chose), vodka, Jack, rum, scotch, gin, and all the mixers (sodas and juices). I think that's pretty darn good if you ask me.

    Yeah, we're having open bar so I wasn't sure if we could.. but I asked a few months ago and they said we could have up to 2 signature drinks (for free), as long as they don't have anything crazy in them that the bar doesn't already have.  So in other words, they're nothing "special" in the sense that anyone could order them either way.. but we're thinking of choosing drinks with our wedding colors or just drinks of significance to us.

    BTW, Thanks for reminding me about this!!! I just opened up my spreadsheet to add it to my to-do list to do some research & trials over the holiday break :)

    Yea I want to have 2 of them (included with open bar) but I haven't even thought about it.  All I know if that I want them to be tropical and not red or some other funky color.

    you cant go wrong with tropical! i deisgned a sign and got a frame for the bar! haah now its all about the little details.....your welcome for the reminder cmac! i get remidned of things on here all the time

    That's something I want to look into as well!!  We did have to request imported beer and they are allowing us to drop off whatever beers we want a few days before hand so that we don't have to pay the outrageous prices that the hall charges for them!  We want Guinness and Harp Lager. Its about $35-40 a case and the hall wanted to charge us $80 a case!  Thank god they were flexible and are allowing us to "sneak"some in!!   Any suggestions on signature drinks for St.Patty's Day??

    ahh st paty day u have so many options besides green beer-u can do a green martini!!!!!!!!!!  u can prob get shamrock stirers!
