Why were names changed? I know it had something to do with the craziness on E the other day, but did some people realize that their usernames could be linked to their real names or something?

@Hummingbird125 - I think it's to protect their real name/identity a bit more. Back when I changed mine, it was for the same reason. I kept a note in my siggy that said my old username to help with any confusion. After a month or so, I deleted that.

@TwoDimes - I think LaPeanut is hollister.

@TwoDimes - that's me too. I have 1 Newfie and 1 Great Pyr. Great Pyrs are my first love though. No worries!! I'm having an off day too.

Sorry guys! I changed mine from lmhollister. Mine wasn't SO identifying...honestly if you looked it up the only things that came up were my Etsy account and maybe a couple others that had zero identifying information but I also use my old username on a lot of things so I changed it since I'm so active here.

I'll try to be less dumb and get some sort of picture in my siggy to help me stand out a little more.

I kept my username, when I google it nothing too crazy comes up, so I'm not too concerned. There was one thing that connected my username to my real name and I changed that, so internet stalkers will not be able to find me

I'm the same me. I'm old & boring & have been living the interweb life for a long time, and I figured if someone wants to stalk &/or bully, then so be it. This week has been long and I'm too tired to care a whole lot about potential crazies.

Now I kind of want to change mine just because. None of my personal info is connected to it but when googled it produces an awkward OkCupid profile and a twitter account that's all in Spanish, neither of which are mine.

I did. Well I didn't have it officially changed, I just switched to account I was using on TB. Suzie211 is my name and bday, and I had wanted to change it forever, but didn't. It's less confusing for me this way and while I've met a lot of you IRL, I don't know everyone on TK and don't need random creepos stalking my FB. Non-randoms are welcome to creep.
