Videography

So, we weren't going to have a videography package, but I've seen some really nice videos on here and others have told me it's nice to be able to watch you say your vows as you look back on your wedding day.  And we had a few more declines than we anticipated.  So, we are thinking doing an hour of videography that includes the ceremony.

Here is my question, should we have the video for the guest seating and ceremony OR ceremony and cocktail/grand entrance time?

Or what have others done with an hour of video time?

Thanks!

Re: Videography

  • We have video of everything but if I had to choose, I'd prefer to have video of the entrance, dance and some of the reception rather than the ceremony.  You get to see all your friends and family who may not be around forever having fun with you and your spouse at the reception.

If I only has an hours, I'd definately cover the ceremony!! Just like VG says, you will want to remember the goodtimes with your family and friends. Also, your famil will probably be taking video of the ceremony on their own cameras, so you won't miss out completely.
  • My opinion if you have the budget do all day, the video of us getting ready and taking pictures are some of my favorite. Langdon video has great rates :-)
