Bars / Nightclubs for After Party?!

So, I was wondering if anyone can help me with this. We are getting married at the Aria, will have dinner in a restaurant, and then an in suite cake cutting and some drinks. I am thinking that I still want to be able to offer my guests more to do afterwards, since there won't be an dj/dancing at our restaurant or in suite.

Does anyone know of any bars/lounges/nightclubs where we can reserve a few small tables for a drink minimum or even do reasonably priced bottle service. It'll be a Saturday night in November, and it will still be pretty early by nightlife standards, I am thinking 10 PM maybe. We'll start the evening with 40 but I think by then we'll be wittled down to 25 or so.

Can anyone offer any advice on this, or are we better of rolling en masse to a bar and just opening a check?!
We are using options around Aria. I would say we'd probably need to be at Aria, Cosmopolitan, maybe Planet Hollywood or Paris since they're across the street.

Any help would be great or do you think this is totally unecessary and I should let people free at that point to do what they want with their vacation.

I guess I am just slightly worried that people won't have as much fun since its not a traditional wedding with dancing etc. I always knew I didn't want a traditional wedding but still hard to shake that.

Thanks!

  • You can get a good price for a table at Chateau inside Paris. It has a indoor area and a nice patio area with a dj and a great view!

  • I am looking for advice and ideas with this same thing! I am torn between letting people part after dinner and cake or going some where else to "party" ....
  • Thanks Valerie! Any idea who you worked with?

  • We are going to Haze after our wedding. We are staying at Aria, so it works out perfectly. Bottle service is $475 a bottle and its 3 person max per bottle.

  • Have you considered Chandelier bar in Cosmo? I'm not sure if they do bottle service but it is gorgeous and can reserve a portion of the bar through group dining.

Damn is right! We are dropping $10G there for rooms for our weddings and tried to get them to give us 6 people to a bottle, They wouldn't give it to us. :(

  • KikiMira wow!  That's a lot for rooms!   They should be doing something for you.  That's pretty inexpensive and would be a very nice perk!  Surprised they wouldn't budge on that.

  • Its alot harder to get deals/perks on a Saturday night.  Thats their money night and they usually won't budge until much closer to your events.  So if you don't mind waiting it out you might get a better deal closer to your event, but you also risk everything getting booked up and if big show/convention gets booked the same weekend andn prices sky rocket.  Everything about vegas is sort of a gamble.
  • I think I'll wait it out. It's thanksgiving Saturday. I've been told the club scene is just a little slower. Anyone know if this is true or this date?

  • 10 pm is when most clubs open, but the promoters want groups there early to get the best location for booths. For more of a louge-y vibe, you might want to try Gold @ Aria instead of Haze. I'd also second the Chateau recommendation. Great views, not as many big names so hopefully better deals.
Yes, Thanksgiving is a dead zone here, one of the few times you might be able to get a seal on a Saturday night. If price is a big factor, you might consider The Artisan. It's a cab ride down there from Aria (Sahara, 1 block off-Strip) but the prices are more affordable. The lobby is covered with paintings from floor to ceiling, literally, and the club is dark with a slightly gothic/vintage flair.
  • Third Chateau, it's a beautiful view and isn't known for booking high-demand DJs like Haze and some other clubs do, which keeps costs lower.  Thanksgiving weekend is actually pretty busy in Vegas, people who don't go see family have a 4 day weekend and tend to take advantage of it.  But since those people are there more nights and can club it up Thursday/Friday that might still work out in your favor.

And I'll second calling the Chandelier bar, that's where we are heading after our reception, but it's not a formal thing, just anyone who wants to keep going can hang with us there.  It's beautiful and not a club, which is perfect for us but might not be great if you want dancing.
