St. Charles Maison

Ladies,

We are considering having our ceremony in the courtyard at the Maison St. Charles hotel.... does anyone have opinions or experiences with weddings here (and their guest rooms)? I have seen VERY mixed reviews online about the hotel rooms which makes me a little nervous about suggesting our guests to stay there... Thank you!

    The courtyard is pretty small, open to the rooms surrounding it, and just around the corner from the pool. The few times I have gone by, it didn't strike me as the best wedding location, but I'm also of the opinion that enough twinkle lights can fix anything :)

    That being said, we are using the Maison as one of our guest hotels, mainly for the price and inclusions. They are undergoing a lot of renovations now, I'm hoping things will work out. Everything is a gamble in New Orleans unless you have the funds to get married at the Ritz ;)
