Well, sort of. FI managed to get some of the guys and a vehicle from the crop-spray department at work for the day. Yay for not having to hire movers! So he's heading out to the farm now to meet them and pick up the furniture and appliances, and as many of the boxes as will fit in the vehicle, and get them moved over to the new place.
He's going to unpack some of the boxes immediately, so he can bring the empty boxes back here and I can pack the stuff we have here tonight, so it can go tomorrow. We should do the "final" move on Friday, hopefully.
I asked FI if he wanted me to go with him today, but he said he had it all under control, if I could just give him a list of what's supposed to go in each room. Yay for not having to do any heavy lifting!
So I will almost certainly disappear on Friday. I have no idea if/when we'll get internet at the new place, we still need to figure out what sort of package we can afford, so it may be a while before I get to come back.
