Well the knot said be prepared for something not to go the way you planned, hopefully this is it for me or I will go insane. Just got an email reminding me that my honeymoon flight is in a few days. Our wedding is in September. I managed to throw away $400 on the wrong month. Just had my first bridal breakdown, and it's completely my fault, but jeeze it's a lot of money :(

    Oh my gosh I am so sorry!! That really is horrible. I know flight companies are pretty strict with that stuff, but instead of canceling, you can't just reschedule? It's just a case of the wedding brain gone wrong. Hopefully you don't come across anymore bad luck!

    Thanks i hope so too!! We got them through Orbitz and neither them or United will give any kind of credit for switching the date. In fact they said I would have to pay an extra 400 to keep a 400 credit which makes no sense to me. The worse part is I must have looked at those dates and times over and over and still didn't catch it!

    I'm sorry this happened to you! That happened to me once, and coincidentally, it was also with Orbitz. I sheduled a flight for the wrong month and YEAR, but it was in a month where the dates fell on the same day of the week as the month I was trying to book. I ended up booking again and just going twice. I'll never fully believe that Orbitz wasn't at least a little responsible...

    I'm constantly paranoid about how I write our date to vendors because the UK way of writing it is 09/04/15 but the American way of writing it is 04/09/15. I hope you can get something sorted :(
