Earlier tonight I was sitting in the kitchen and I heard a really loud meow. One of my cats was running through the room toward the bathroom where I keep her litter box. She didn't make it and ended up pooping on the bathroom floor. *ick factor warning* her stool was really runny, kind of greenish and I think there was a little bit of blood in it. I'm going to call the vet tomorrow but I'm really worried about her.

@jenna8984, it sounds like she's expressing her anal glands which some cats do when they are really startled. The stuff from the anal glands does smell absolutely horrible. If it's only happened a couple times when she's been really frightened then I personally would not be concerend but there's no harm in asking your vet the next time you take her in for a check up.
If they thought it was serious, I'm sure they would have found a way to get you in today. I've had times in the past where I called right as they were closing and my vet stuck around for me to come in or had me come in even if they were booked full that day. So, if you explained the symptoms and they didn't seem to concerned, it probably isn't anything serious.
Although, even then, if my pet was still in pain, I wouldn't want to wait any longer than needed. Is there another vet office in your area that you could take her to? Maybe even call your vet and ask if they could recommend someone else that may be able to get you in today. We have a back-up vet office that we keep info on our fridge, just in case. The back-up office is also 24-hour emergency clinic, which we unfortunately have had to use at night when our dog was in major pain (luckily, it ended up just being urinary tract infection).
Or at least call your vet back, tell them the symptoms, and ask what they would recommend until your appointment. They may recommend dietary changes that would be easier on the stomach or some over counter medication that might provide temporary relief until tomorrow. From past issues, we learned that one of my dogs has really sensitive stomach and if he starts having problems, vet recommended that we switch him to chicken and rice only diet until we can get him in. It usually helps relieve his symptoms and makes him more comfortable until he can get better treatment or for meds to kick in.
