  Woohoo! That would definitely brighten my day.
  
  My day is less miserable because I ran into some former professors of mine who are awesome, and because the weather had been good so far this week, and because my hair looks great today.

  My day is less miserable because I love the outfit I'm wearing today and also because we are visiting a potential house today and tomorrow. I'm more excited about the one tomorrow but both are very nice homes that we could really like.

  I waited until later to post this so I can say that I'm almost done with work.  Thus far that's the highlight of my day.  That and maybe going to Panera for dinner instead of cooking fish at home.

  Finally feeling like I have some direction in life thanks to @thetimewillcomeis making my day less miserable!

  Oh, and seeing that the stock units granted to me as part of my employment package have increased value by 21% since July (which equates to a very nice chunk of change). It gave me hope that by the time I am ready to purchase a house in the future, I will have the down payment ready after selling off some stocks .
