Okay, so just a little background: 5 BM & 5 GM. 1 FG (FI's daughter) & 1 RB
My parents and stepparents (4 total)
His parents
I have 5 siblings (2 married)
He has a sister
I have 8 grandparents. He has none.
So I was looking at the list of must have shots. They are all pretty normal (ie: bride &groom, B&G w/ G's parents...) I keep adding shots to the list. My photog said she would love if I made a list. So far I have 37 must-have formal family shots for the church and 7 must-have candid shots (his daughter/FG holding the rings in her hands)
Is that too many formal shots? I mean, I know that the pictures won't take a lot of time. My cousin's wedding was very formal and the pictures only took about half an hour, which I think is a good amount of time for people to be at the reception site for cocktails and chitchat before we arrive. We are planning on a first look at a different location so we get 99% of our nice outside pictures out of the way before the ceremony.
Any input into this?
PS. While I'm asking, when I give the list to the photog, should I use "Bride Mom & Bride Step-dad" or "Sue* & Bob*" to identify the persons in the picture?
