We just got back this week from our Honeymoon in Aruba! We had such an amazing time and so much fun. We stayed the Riu Palace All Inclusive. We were a little hesitant to book the Riu based on reviews from trip advisor but since we do a decent amount of traveling we understand it's a lot easier for someone to always complain about things. We were so happy we didn't listen to the reviews.
The Riu was beautiful the staff was so friendly and they went above and beyond to make sure we were having a great trip. We were greeted with smiling faces and drinks in hand upon check in. When they found out we were there for our honeymoon they upgraded us to a full ocean view suite and had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room. Our room was cleaned daily and the mini bar always stocked. We had no problems making reservations for the restaurants at our hotel. We also wanted the later reservations so not sure if the earlier dinner booked up faster. The food was very good even at the buffet. It was one of the best all inclusive buffets we have ever eaten at. The pool and beach were fantastic and it has one of the best locations on the strip.
We ate out at 2 restaurants during our staying, one was Texas de Brazil that we loved and would definitely go back. We also ate at The Flying Fishbone which I would highly recommend! We had dinner at sunset and our table was literally in the water. It was one of best experiences. We are also very happy we went with an all inclusive. We looked at the menu for several different restaurants and unless you want pizza and burgers the whole time you can spend a decent amount of money on food and drinks alone.
We did a few excursions one being the snorkel trip to the German sunken ship. That was one of the highlights of our trip! It was such a neat experience and something you normally don't get a chance to see. We also did horseback riding and the Jeep tour. Both were a lot of fun!
We also booked a couples massage at the Riu Spa. We did look at the spa's at the Hyatt and the Radisson but decided to go with the Riu. The Riu did offer a couples massage on the beach but we decided to do it in the spa. The beach was a little loud and the wind can be a lot at times and we wanted full relaxation. The Spa was nice and well kept. They had a hot tub and sauna that you could use. The only thing was the hot tub really wasn't hot it just had the jets.
Overall we had a great Honeymoon and are planning on making a trip back to Aruba. We are even considering going for our 6 months anniversary

Aruba truly is such a friendly island. We had no problem leaving our resort and walking around. No one begged you for tips or was trying to selling you things. There was never a time where we felt unsafe. Let me know if you have any questions, I hope the review helps.
