I cannot fold a fitted sheet. FI and I fold them up together and she tells me step by step what to do and then as soon as the sheet is folded, poof, the information leaves my brain.

That was my solution too! It was not the right solution.

I always tried "I'm too short to fold it!" until FI pointed out if we both fold it, that excuse is invalid.

My solution is, I don't fold them. If one partner in a relationship wants them folded a certain way, they are welcome to do that. My sheets existed just fine before I got married, folded or not.

Oh, I did offer to fold all the sheets! And the towels! But crammed in they go anyway. :-p He's lucky he's so cute. ;-)

I am terrible with folding fitted sheets.

Luckily (or unluckily) FI does most of the laundry, and when he washes the sheets he puts them straight back on the bed once they're dry.

I have a special method that I've been using for 20 years. It works, I'm good, and DH knows not to even bother about trying to fold them.

I actually think they're fairly easy to fold.

It's funny, some woman on Come Dine With Me was showing everyone how to fold a fitted sheet a few weeks ago. All her guests were astonished that she could actually fold it so perfectly. Pretty sure the key was just to fold the corners down so that it's shaped more like a regular sheet.

I find it physically painful to fold things like sheets and towels; my shoulders partially dislocate and I can't hold things up in front of me. I do a half-assed job and don't worry about wrinkles.

I've been banned from emptying the dishwasher after I accidentally put away dirty dishes. They looked clean to me!!! We do still need some sessions on "the measuring spoons go with the measuring cups, not with the actual spoons" though. :-p
