Platinum Hotel Brides Reception/ photo questions

Hello ladies. I can't belive how much information i am getting thanks to all you Knotties! I am 95% sure we are booking at Platinum hotel. I have a few quesions.

1 I'm having trouble finding pics for the Kil@wat Restaurant and Pool Deck. I love the space of the pool deck but my FI likes the view from the top floor. Looking for more pics from the pool deck and how it can be decorated

2. was thinking more of a cocktail than full dinner. has any one done this here?

3. i was hopoing to do a photo tour after the ceremony but i don't know if that will work with the timing of  everything?

    Hey Vanessa - I was a Platinum Bride and we did the cocktail reception rather than a full meal and it worked out great for us. We had passed apps, and some stations. There was plenty of food, and it allowed us to have the party atmosphere we wanted.

    As for the others I can't help much - we chose the rooftop (we had 62 people) and we skipped a photo tour because we wanted to go straight into the reception from the ceremony with no delay in between. So all our photos were candid throughout the night except for a few standard family photos taken right after

    You are making a fantastic choice picking the Platinum - great, great venue

    Hi!

    I'm doing the all inclusive package with the buffet dinner there in 2 weeks!!! Mostly thanks to fellow Knotties like TorontoZombie!!!

    We are doing a short cocktail reception after the ceremony but because we want it to be at sunset we opted out of the tour too.

    This package is a bit more expensive than I anticipated but it was nice to not have to find my own vendors and easy to make detail choices without being overwhelmed. We are also using the Misora rooftop because the pool deck was booked already. :) But i'm happy with that. I know someone that went to a wedding there recently as a guest and she said it was perfect!

    The Platinum staff are more than helpful and will work with you on some options if need be! I can't wait to see it all come together!

    Getting married at Platinum in September ... since we're doing a 6pm Ceremony, we'll do photo tour beforehand, then stay at Platinum for the reception with our guests. That way we still get our pictures and our guests don't feel like we abandoned them right after the wedding. :)

    We are getting married at the Platinum Hotel in October and have selected the pool location for our ceremony and reception!  Has anyone had any experience with this venue? I am so torn because all I hear in the reviews is people picking the rooftop misora venue and loving that location. Not many reviews on the Kilow@t pool??   We will have about 80 people. Any feedback would be appreciated.
