Wedding Planners

I was going to purchase a wedding planner since I feel I will be a more successful and organized DIY Bride. I know our bookstore carries a large variety of them. But wanted some advice from you ladies. 

Did you create your own?

If purchased- which planner did you purchase?

    I ended up making my own, because I couldn't find a pre-made one that contained exactly what I wanted. Depending on how you make yours, it can end up costing more than a pre-made planner. I found a great website with details on what to include in the binder: 

    The nice thing about making your own is that you can include exactly what you want, and you don't have to put things that don't pertain to you. If you do end up buying one, the Martha Stewart one is pretty good and I have friends that have used it. 

    The internet is full of great ideas for what to include if you decide to make one!

    I made mine myself, like the p.p. I wanted to customize it. The ones I looked at all had laid out sheets for stuff like budgets, and seat charting and it wasn't fitting with the stuff I was doing for my wedding. I bought a nice sturdy 3" binder and like 2 or 3 sets of the binder tabs. look online, that's where I found what to label my tabs.

    Thanks ladies!! I figured it would be easy to make one on my own. A few sites I have found did have some layouts, check off sheets etc. Guess my first DIY project starts this weekend.

    I also made my own wedding binder, but it is not as organized as I had hoped.  sarahk thanks for sharing that link!  I am going to go back through and reorganize my binder similar to that.

    I made my own in a binder with tabs for each category. My venue ended up giving me lots of paperwork in a binder, so I kind of merged the two together. My venue is mostly All Inclusive though, so it's a bit different than most.
